Michael,
Now that we can use 16 channels it would be very helpful for troubleshooting systems to have the extra channels on the calibration page. Even though when you move the extra channels during calibration the values and hence the fact that they are being recognized is shown with the calibration results, it would help in determining if the channels are recognized to have the values shown at the bottom of the calibration page during and before calibration. This way you don't have the do a calibration and look at the results every time you change something while trying to make it work.
You can see the channel movement start to show up. You don't have to have the fancy green bars but just a channel number and it's PWM value would be helpful.
Also would be very helpful to change the color on the hud of the GPS being used at the moment.
Thanks!

Unfortunately the new ardupilot.org servers are so slow for me they are nearly unusable. I mean to the tune of minutes to load the pages.
When Michael does a radio cal he currently "records" the pwm values of all the channels that change during the cal, including the ch9-16. He just does not display in the green-bar graphic over 8 channels. The status of Ardupilot with more than 8 channels is very confusing to people. I answer a lot of questions and help people troubleshoot. So it would be helpful to expand the radio cal page to make it very clear which channels are being recognized and their PWM values.
Too bad on the GPS status. It certainly is also confusing the many people who use dual-GPS which one is currently being used by the FC. I know their are problem with how to switch over without a glitch so it is not recommended to use two now but it is a valuable asset to have a backup GPS with a craft so dependent on GPS for navigation.
The support site for Mission Planner has moveed. Best to post to http://discuss.ardupilot.org/c/ground-control-software/mission-planner

MAVLink only supports 8 channels. There is no way to get information back on ch 9-16.

That information is not sent from the vehicle to the GCS
