Mission Planner Fork

Hello everybody,

First of all, feel free to move this post to other forums if it's not the correct place.

I'm trying to change some minor things in Mission Planner (e.g the position of some buttons, adding a checklist, etc...). I've compilled it succesfully, but I was wondering if there is a way to keep the fork updated without losing the changes that I've made to the code. I'm thinking in make a fork in github and make the changes in a separated branch, but I'm not sure that will work.

Any suggestions?

    Create a fork, then a branch on that fork with your changes. You can then fetch upstream to master and rebase your changes in your branch on updates to master.
