I have two hard-drives on my system, drive C is a SSD for boot etc, drive D is the general installation drive.
I then have a server with other networked drives etc for mass storage.
When I install Mission Planner, I always select installation directory as D:\Program Files (x86)\APM Planner as part of the setup, however it always installs in C:\Program Files (x86)\APM Planner. Is there a way of being able to install on the D drive please (apart from copying over after install).
Also, can a user selectable location be introduced, perhaps in an .ini file to select the location for downloaded log files etc.
As I have multiple drives, I would like to select a networked drive and folder to store my logs in should I be unfortunate enough to suffer a hard drive failure.
Many thanks,
Steve

Do you use the .msi installer file option? You can also just download the zip and unzip it anywhere you like. I have a very similar HDD layout to yours and I tried using the .msi version earlier and had the same problem, so I just got the zip and put the contents onto D.
You can put a bug report here: https://github.com/diydrones/MissionPlanner/issues?state=open
Cancel the user selectable log location, I see this has now been introduced :)
Well done Michael :-)
Just the installation location now ;-)
