Hello,
At first: sorry for my bad english....but i'll try it...;)
I've an Ardupilot 2.6, telemtry kit, LiPo akku and an Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick. I've downloaded the latest Mission Planner Software (with new updates). I can connect my Ardupilot via usb or telemetry kit. This works fine. Updated the needed firmware (helicopter).....that's all.
The Mission Planner accepts my Joystick....i can select the necessary buttons, sliders (gas, pitch, roll, etc). But when i'm connection the Ardupilot, i can't calibrate my radio (joystick)....nothing works...no reaction. and no servo (they are connected, by the correct way, by the output slots on the ardupilot) is working. What am i doing wrong....:((???
p.s: Status leds on the telemetry kit are always green and blinking red (receiving data)...but wich data??
And why is Mission Planner accepting my joysick when the ardupilot is disconnected and not when the ardupilot is connected?
I've no idea....:((
You have to know, that i'm not a computer specialist or something like that....i'm an geographer and archaeologist...but i will try it..;)
OS: Windows 7, 64bit
Best regards from Germany
Matthias

Having a very similar issue. Cannot get Saitek x52 set to work with MP 1.2.74.
- 3DR temeletry @ 57k
- Win. 8
- APM 2.5
- Quad (Flamewheel F450)
Setup is calibrated and 100% flyable with Spektrum DX6i, MP Joystick settings identifies and shows joystick inputs working correctly, but, there is nothing when the APM is armed. Been digging for hours, can't come up with anything!
you need to calibrate the range of motion using a real rc transmitter.
