I was messing with the software and noticed that if you go to configuration - Parameter list, you can set the Value to any number, not matter if there was a set limit or not.
Example: Command AHRS_GPS_GAIN
This controls how how much to use the GPS to correct the attitude
- Range: 0.0 1.0
- Increment: .01
On the Mission planner software, I can type any number I want. I this case I typed 100 and it accepted it. When I looked at the flight data, the HUD was all over the place. Not sure if this is a bug, or by design. I am sure you have limits for a reason and I would gather you would want to lock that down to avoid accidental settings...

the paramater list is not restrained in anyway. the other tabs are. this was on purpose. ie dev testing etc.
