Hi All. I have Mission Planner on a laptop ground station. Seems everything is working (connection) BUT..after I connect, Mission Planner automatically goes into this "Getting Params 1" mode. Seems to be taking forever. Is this normal? Only option I have is to cancel this process. Not certain thats a good idea either. Any assistance would be helpful. Mark

I had the same Problem a few days ago when trying to connect with a Bluetooth HC06 Module. If that is also the case for you here is how I fixed that:
1.) Connect via USB
2.) Enable Telemetry for the 3DR Radio to have the SR Parameters set correctly.
3.) The Muppets who made the connectors for the Module got their pin layout all mixed up. The Module was unable to "write" information on the telemetry port and could only read. That's what kept the Parameters from working. As well as any kind of "command" like Arm via Droid Planner.
I hope this helps.
Hi Tobias, Thanks for your reply. Yes, I got through this. I seemed to have numerous issues with this software and I am very computer literate. I have left the MP software for another with no plans to look back. Again, thank you for your reply. Mark
