Mission planner running in slow motion

Quick question.

Mission planner has been working fine under Win7, Now forced to use a different laptop, Vista installed, have dl'd latest version of Mission Planner and its taking ages to load, ages to react after button presses, and ages to close. By ages I mean like 15~30 secs reaction time.

Anyone ever experienced this?

 

Laptop recent install, everything seems ok, installed programs minimal...

    Ok Mike, Winter is almost here, should be plenty of time to delve into the code and see if I can help in any way

    Try this.

    Set your color down to 16 bit. 

    If that does not fix it, return your color to normal, and try something that is even more likely to fix it.

    Go to Configuration->Planner and set GDI+. Restart Mission Planner.
