MissionPlanner32-1.2.msi Won't Install

Hello,

Downloaded MissionPlanner32-1.2.msi, won't install. Install Shield goes through its paces, Around the "validating" step it says "rolling back" and uninstalls, ending with "error....etc."

This is a Win XP machine, 32 bit. Installed .Net Frameworks:

.Net 3.5 SP1

.Net 3.0 Service Pack 2

.Net 2.0 Service Pack 2

.Net 1.1

Ok, while checking versions for this post, I fired up APM Planner 1.1.88 mav 0.9 and allowed it to do the update. Now running MP 1.2 mav 1.0, seems ok.

Any clue why it wouldn't install on its own but did via the updater?

Just trying to understand.

    Chris, after some delay, I'm back on the APM2;

    Uninstalled MP from my Win XP machine, reinstalled 1.2.5, did not connect

    Purged all APM and MP entries from Register with Regedit, reinstalled, upgraded to 1.2.6, connects Ok, now.

    Did not try on my Win7 machine because it is a 64 bit whereas XP machine is 32 bit.

    But,

    In Flight Planner, the Load WP file and Save WP File buttons are missing. Read/Write are there and work ok.

    I expect I'll repost in the MP section.

    Not sure (not many are still running XP) but it sounds like all is well now. I assume you're loading the driver manually?
