Mode Switch Testing

Hi, I have used the Mode Switch Test software to confirm I am set up for:

 POSITION 1 Manual
 POSITION 2 Fly_by_wire
 POSITION 3 Auto

When I move the elevator and rudder control sticks in manual mode the control surfaces move as expected.  When I do the same thing in auto mode, the control surfaces do move (although jittery and slow reacting)

I expected that in auto mode the control surfaces would not react at all to manual input.

Do I have a problem?

    That's correct. You can always manually "nudge" the controls in auto mode. It's like fly-by-wire, but you're overriding the autonomous navigation rather than flying yourself.
