I got the arducopter up and running. The motors were arming and were responding to the throttle. I soldered on the magnetometer and now I'm having issues getting the motors to arm/respond in flight mode (they are fine in esc calibration).
When booted in normal flight mode the green/red (A/C) leds flicker interchangeably fast then slow, where it finally ends up with only the red (C) led on and not blinking, with or without GPS connected. Before the magnetometer, the green (A) led would remain lit/blinking denoting motor status, but not anymore.
Any ideas? Should I just remove the magnetometer or am I just missing something?

Do try removing the mag and see if that makes a difference.
