We are building a UAV and have recently run into trouble with our motor. It has worked smoothly in the past, but now is makes a clicking when it is run. The motor is a Park 450 Brushless Outrunner Motor, 890Kv. The ESC is an E-Flite 20-Amp Brushless. We have tried a 800mAh/11.1V battery as well as a 11.1V/1200MAh battery, both with the same outcome. It gets up to a slow speed when the throttle is low. It will not go past that speed even if the throttle is increased. We are wondering if anyone out there has run into similar issues, or knows what is wrong. We are planning on buying a new motor and ESC at this point.A video is posted below.
