Motor quality

This is a question about quality control with the various manufacturers of multicopter motors, NOT a question about advice as to how to choose one.  :)

I've done two builds using turnigy motors and so far I've suffered a motor failure rate of 12.5%.  Call me picky but that's just too danged high.  When I say motor failure I mean the motor doesn't turn freely due to some blockage inside (the motor will turn only slowly with lots of clicking and noise, or it will have small 'clicks' and won't balance properly).  These are out of box failures.  I can't have that.

Can any of you recommend a brand of motor with a good quality control record?

Many thanks
