Morning,
When running the motors command in cli under setup, my understanding is that you will then be able to use stick inputs to check the direction of each motor.
When I run the command, it moves to the next line and does not do anything further. Is there anything I am missing here?

It moeves to the next line and doesn't do anything... now you move the sticks on your transmitter to the endpoints and the motors should move if they are calibrated...
that way you can check the spinning-direction...
