Motors don't spin up after "ARM" at AC3.1.2

Hi,

I just fisnished the wizard conf. I connect the battery to the Quad and try the arm (without props), the RED led stop blinking but the motors don't spin slowly as is informed in AC3.1.2 info, when i push a little throttle and go down again motors spin slowly as they should... I use dx6i with AR6210 reciver... I remember when i was configure radio to my little pocket quad on Multii wii i set up travel adjust to 125% on all AIL, ELE, TH.. Should i do the same for the APM? Also after couple of seconds one of the motor stops itself.... It's working little harder on the magnets is that a reason? (i mean it's stop when the motros spin slowly)...

Best Regards!

Thomas.

  • Hi Dave,

I want this feature as it will tell me is my copter armed or not from distance. How much You suggest to incrase? It is normal that they not spin after armed but if go little up with throttle and go down to 0 again they stay spin until disarmed...
    • Mine did the same thing. I just set it to not spin. Go to standard parameters, scroll down until you find "motors always spin when armed"
Open the pull down menu options are, do not spin, very slow, slow, medium, fast.
Just increase to the next level and test. So if yours is set to very slow set to slow and test it.
  • Increase the mot_spin_armed to a higher value or set it to do not spin if you dont want this feature. It is under standard params
