Hi, I am new to "APM world". I bought APM 2.0 in May 2012, and after I got retired I wanted to give it a try. I am in RC hobby more than 10 years, flown planes and helicopters. I started building tris and quads last year with "KK" boards.
I am setting up a "H" quad with APM 2.0. Using AC 2.9, DT 750 motors, HK 30A ESCs, Spektrum 7600 receiver....
I have done ESC calibration using method 2. Motors are running one by one. Have also done ESC calibration all at once using method 1. And also I made radio setup and calibration in MP. APM 2.0 arms, MTK GPS gets 3Dfix, I don't plan to use telemetry in the beginning....
With lipos connected, motors don't start at all. I have changed all solders and connectors. Must be something I am skipping or over looking. Maybe in MP set-up.
Help will be appreciated. Regards. Zafer

I found the best way to test ESC is one at a time. http://diydrones.com/forum/topics/can-t-program-diy-drones-20a-esc?...
I had a problem where two ESC would arm but two wound not. This turned out to be because my ESCs where not calibrate- able. To make it work the .pram configs HAD to be loaded.
I've also had troube getting the APM to arm if the transmitter trims where net set.
You say your ESC arm but will not spin? Do they work when connected directly to the transmitter?
I have done radio recalibration in MP and that solved my problem. Can now proceed to the next step.. :)
