Thanks for the detailed manual and all the help you guys are giving to newbies like me.
I face some problems with the MTK GPS which I could not get it to work for weeks.
Below is what happens when i power on.
1. Fast flashing - cablibrating gyros.
2. BC go solid for 2-3 seconds - pause.
3. A and BC flash alternating - rotation flashing.
4. ABC flash slowly - waiting for GPS lock.
5. B Solid. No A and C.
Also, on the Mtk, the LED flashes blue for 30mins and doesn't lock.
I have tried all my 4 AMP boards (2 of which I just purchased) and 3 Mtk GPS and have the same problem. The 2 new AMP has updated firmware and does not have any servo twitching problem the first 2 boards have.

My setup:
1. I updated the firmware of Mtk GPS successfully.
2. The GPS is connected to the Red board that say "GPS port".
3. The MUX LED turns on when I switch away from MANUAL.
4. In the code, I defined the MTK GPS
#define GPS_PROTOCOL GPS_PROTOCOL_MTK
5. I did not change any other part of the ArduPilotMega Beta 1.0 code that is uploaded yesterday.
I think I am missing something really simple, but I have been going through the manual and still cant solve this problem.
Really appreciate your help. Thanks
Joshua

However, I reset the board, and LED C started flashing. Then it became SOLID. So did my MTK. I got the GPS reading on CLI and they are accurate.
Now, I need to get LED A to light up. Why is the LED A not lighting up?
From http://code.google.com/p/ardupilot-mega/wiki/LED
it says ABC solid - ready to fly
I have no idea what happened? Does anyone?
Thanks in advance :)
