Multiplex Power Pack for Easy Star

Hi all, Has anyone used the Multiplex Power Pack to upgrade the brushed motor, propeller, and ESC that comes with the Easy Star? I have just purchased the Multiplex Power Pack and hate to reinvent the wheel if someone else has already accomplished the upgrade and can describe their experience. Regards, TCIII

    Chris,

    It turns out that Multiplex had shipped a number of the Multiplex MiniMag/Easy Star Power Packs with the wrong configuration (outrunner HC) of the Himax 2815-2000 brushless motor.

    A quick call to Hitec/Multiplex resulted in the ability to swap the Himax outrunner for the correct Himax inrunner by faxing them my Tower Hobbies invoice showing proof of purchase of the Power Pack ugrade kit.

    How you accomplished the upgrade would be appreciated.

    Yes, I have. It's a pretty easy upgrade. Did you want to know how to do it, or how well it worked?
