In preparation for my ArduCopter Kit (tomorrow!) I pulled the APMega out of my EZ* and put the ArduPilot back in with the thermopiles, loaded and configured the 2.7 code real quick, and the thing flies "dead-nuts" on.
Navigation, stabilization, loiter, altitude hold, throttle control....everything seems to work.
