Hi all,
I sat down last night to install the attopilot current sensor on my quad but must admit that after reading the wiki I have come away a bit confused. The wiki suggests that if you are using a 3 cell lipo (which I am) that I should use the voltage divider on the apm instead of the current sensor as it has better resolution.
To measure current I should use the current sensor. All of this makes sense to me, but I want to make sure that I'm correct in my thinking.
In order to achieve this I would just solder on a 3.9k Ohm resistor on AN0 (for full battery voltage) and let APM handle the rest.
For Current I would use the current sensor connected to AN1 and Ground with no resistors soldered.
Is this correct ?
Thanks to any who can answer

The current sensor is the way to go in my opinion. Voltages fluctuate a lot when flying.
