My APM2.0 is not more power when it is powered from the external battery, but works fine from USB.

When I connect the APM2 with the external battery (4 x 1.2V = 4.8v) (as I did as usual on the last weeks), the APM2 remains off, not LED lights on the board, not GPS. I did not change any configuration on the jumper.

When I connect the APM2 with the USB cable, all LEDs are OK and GPS is initialization.

I did try to reset when connected with USB, I reinstalled the firmware, this did not solve the problem.

Please, I really need help.

Any idea?

  • To add more details: when the APM2 board is powered from the Output rail (where servos are connected), it is not started,  LEDs are off. This was working before. I believe is something with APM2 board, please confirm.

When it is powered from the inputs rail (from receiver), LEDs start blinking.

Please, any idea why is not more powered from the output rail? I did not change the jumper, it is on the same position as from factory.
