Need Help!!! PPM encoder acting weird

I have APM 1 with processor 2560. When i just power the APM board with RX pins connected the PPM encoder is blinking ( working condition). But when i put the IMU shield on APM, the PPM encoder is solid blue. And RX values are zero.

What could be the problem???

Have the same problem, have followed the troubleshooting guide but no luck so far. I'm starting to think this might be a hardware issue ?
