Hi, I'm an absolute newbie but since I've heard about quadrocopters, I think of nothing else than to build one myself :-)
Thats where I need help...
I have looked through the internet and found the Arduino-Board which i think can be used for an Quadrocopter (if I'm wrong, please telp me)
So, I want to buy the brushless + controllers at hobbycity.com (I think the prices are fair enough)
My problem lies with the other electric parts, mainly the Arduino and the ArduPilot (do I need that?), because I can't program and haven't yet found a code 4 that 2 download, so please help me with that!!!!!!!!!!
Another question I have is if I need some more parts (except RC), f.ex. gps or other parts from your store?!
Plz reply, I would be grateful for all replies!!!

Thanks Roy for your fast reply!
Perhaps I'm stupid but I still don't know if I need f.ex. the ArduIMU board, Arduino or other sensor boards.
@ AeroQuad they don't have ArduIMUs and here they havn't those DOF IMUs *confused*
What is better (and cheaper)?
Patrick

P.S. Apologizing for my English
Patrick,

Aeroquad uses a Sparkfun "IMU". Sorry - I menat to link to the main page: http://aeroquad.com/content.php

Also, here's a build guide

http://aeroquad.googlecode.com/files/AeroQuad%20Tutorial_v6.pdf

I have not built either one, so I can't comment on which is better or cheaper
