I'm setting up an ezstar , first time apm on a plane (coming from multicopter apm side of the house), and the direction of servo travel for both elevator and rudder are reversed what I would expect from stick movement.

I've selected 'reverse' (roll, pitch, even yaw), and I see no change in servo travel direction.

My intention was to use my same transmitter/radio settings for all my APM2x vehicles (so reversing the direction on the transmitter isn't a desired option).

What am I missing to be able to change the servo travel direction?

I've already changed the flight mode channel to 5, to match what I'm using for my other APM items, and can confirm the flight mode change between RTL/stab/manual.  No difference in servo travel direction based on flight mode.

  • So, if in the auto mode, the rover is going in reverse direction like the wheels are rotating opposite way. You think that I need to "reverse" the roll or something else?
    Please thanks.

I will really appreciate it. I am really stuck. In the tlogs, the roll altitude is going negative also.

Those checkboxes only affect auto modes (from stabilize to full auto). To change servo travel in manual modes (which is a direct pass-through from the RC receiver, and doesn't go through the autopilot), you need to use the channel reverse controls on your RC transmitter.

    This in the manual here
