There seem to be allot of options in the area of drones. I am new to this and would like recommendations on a on a drone. The hexadrones look attractive to me. I want to shoot videos and perform surveillance. I am a skilled builder so a kit is attractive. I would like a tried and true performer, not a one of a kind creation. I want something very easy to fly and program and substantial enough to handle some average weather conditions. I use a gopro 2 camera but would like some recommendations to do high quality work. Please respond as if I know nothing. Takes me a little while but I can get up to speed pretty quick.

I've been pretty happy with my 3DR hex. I am building a gimbal for camera stabilization and hope to be flying it this Spring.
