Hello,

I have a problem in getting my RC setup finished.

Windows 7 - 32 bit, recent (< 2 months) hexa  kit from 3drobotics, APM 2.5.

With Mission Planner 1.2.59 and 2.9.1b firmware (which comes with the current Mission Planner) I cannot get the RC receiver calibrated in the Mission Planner and then cannot test the RC. We have a Spektrum DX6i and a Spektrum AR610 receiver. They are bound and we can connect an ESC to the Throttle port on the receiver and successfully spin up the corresponding motor (tested with a 6 motors during manual calibration) with the Throttle channel and control a servo with the receiver as well, but there is no movement on the green bars when moving the throttle or other controls.

With firmware 3.0.0-rc5 we can get the RC to talk to the APM, but only in Terminal mode, i.e. connect APM, setup radio works. But Mission Planner cannot connect to the APM in Hardware/Install Firmware - the firmware uploads but then it times out (same thing happens with 3.0.1-rc1 current beta). In the CLI (Terminal) we can see that the RC works and can run a test on the motors (i.e. with test motors). So it seems to me I am stuck and cannot perform any of the other setup steps - trying to control the copter with the RC does not work as well (i.e. arming, etc).

I have tried Mission Planner 1.2.47 with the same results. Do you have any hints on how to get this setup to communicate correctly ?

I am attaching the log file that has the timeout events in it. It does not seem to log anything when in terminal mode besides the open event and a picture of the setup.
Thank you for any advice you can help out with,

Sounds like a driver issue. Can you try on another PC? Make sure you run the full .msi Mission Planner Installer file, which will load the correct drivers.
