Phoenix Flight Systems is proud to present the first video/camera switcher unit specifically designed for small UAV use.We have gone through extensive testing and R&D but now we need real-life beta testers! The video input switcher we now have available for testing has 6 composite video inputs and one output, it is meant to allow the use of multiple cameras with one video transmitter, allowing to switch between the camera being broadcasted by the transmitter. Our switcher unit does not right now come with control circuitry and needs to be controlled by an uC using 4 digital pins. We have example software available for the Arduino platform but any uC with 4 available digital pins can be used to control the unit.We are looking for individuals interested in testing and reviewing the functionality of the switcher module. If you are interested and have at least 3 composite video outputting cameras please let us know through the contact us form on http://www.phoenixflightsystems.com.If we approve you as a beta-tester we will send you the complete pre-production video switcher unit free of charge of course, and if you post a detailed review with video we will send you a complete set of the production unit as well, and maybe some more goodies. The beta units weight in at about 7 grams without cables, and the production units will come in at about the same. For pics of the unit check the gallery on http://www.phoenixflightsystems.com
