Hi I have done all the wiring but no power to rx. I am using apm 2.5 with power module connects to a 3s lipo. Do I need to put in a jumper plug? Coz the cable from esc goes to the output side of the apm. New to all this and close to flying. Please help.

No, if you're using the Power Module it should power the RC input rail (no need for jumper). Check that your RC cables aren't upside down or otherwise connected wrong. I assume APM powers on as expected..
