Hi All,

I've been tearing my hair out trying to solve this problem .

Currently trying to setup my  Pixhawk  (latest firmware).

I have calibrated the radios and am attempting to manually control my tank bot . The pixhawk is configured with rover configuration - skid steer.

At the moment  there is now PWM signal on my  main out  pin 1and pin 2

RCMAP_PITCH   3

RCMAP_ROLL    1

RCMAP_THROTTLE   2

RCMAP_YAW  4

output on Radio channel  1/2

I can see the values on Mission planner change but I dont see any pwm signal on the output pins

(I have an Oscilloscope hooked up)

The weird thing is ...is that I did managed to get a pwm signal after going through the wizard setup on one occasion (after all the checklist) . Was not able to get the signals again after that.

Is there some arming procedure that needs to happen ?

Cheers

Esa

    @Esa,

    There will be no output from the Pixhawk until the arming button is solid and not flashing red.

    • Thank you Thomas !

      I reinspected my cables and noticed I had a pin out mismatch on the pwm signals.

      I can move the robot freely now in manual mode.

      I do have a few more questions.

      Why is it that when I Arm/Disarm the rover I cannot hear any sound ?

      The only sound I hear is the startup music + a long beep upon power up.

      I also cannot arm/disarm via Mission planner . Under Flight Data ->  Actions Tab ...when I click the arm/disarm button I get a "Error: command rejected by MAV"

      I'm also having problems setting up the battery failsafe voltage

       under Initial Setup -> mandatory Hardware -> Failsafe the low battery and reserved mAH boxes are greyed out

      I'm running a 3s 5200 mAH battery

      currently the low battery value is set to 13.1 V  , which is too high  I can't set it to 10.2 V as the box is greyed out

      Also what should I set for reserved mAH ?

      Also since the low battery value is currently at 13.1V why is it that I don't get a warning on the ground station or the buzzer sounding.

      In the Optional Hardware -> Battery Monitor Section . I currently have the MP alert on low battery checked.

      I have the Monitor set to Voltage and Current (4)

      Sensor -> Other  (0)

      APM Ver Pixhawk (4)

      Cheers

      Esa
