Obtaining angles from a gimbal

Hi

I am still fairly new to drones and UAVs. I am currently doing research in drones at my university. One of the challenges I'm currently facing now is trying to obtain the roll, pitch, yaw angles from a gimbal. The gimbal I am currently using is a Tarot ZYX T-3DV. I initially had the gimbal connected straight to the receiver, but decided to rather connect it to my Pixhawk flight controller (via the Aux Out pins on the Pixhawk).

Does anyone know how to obtain these angles from the gimbal? I am needing the data to perform some calculations on my Odroid. I don't necessarily need the gimbal to be connected to the Pixhawk. If anyone has a solution for either way, I'd very much appreciate it.
