Odd flip on 2.0.35 (log included)

Hello

2.0.35 seems to be working rather nicely, but we had rather odd flip today where the chopper would rapidly flip around to its right side while I was landing it on simple mode. The flip seemed as if the right side motor would have just shut down completely (quad is built on + configuration).

I have tied to rule out hardware issues as much as I can. ESC used on the quad are: These

(way too heavy I noticed..) they are all on factory default settings, so there might be power cut off due to low voltage, but then on the other hand, the battery indicator would only ocassionaly beep while throtling a bit more, and while the flip happened, I was just about to land and was basically hovering.

Loose connections should also be out of the question since everything is soldered (except the esc signal wires) and everything was somewhat normal after the crash.

I cut of some useless data from the log, and the crash can be seen at the end of the log where the roll values go a bit crazy. There seems to be also some weird values on motor 1 at the time of the crash but it might be just something completely else. I cant really spot much other fishy stuff on those logs, but I hope they are of use to someone.

I also have on-board video of the flight, showing the flip. If someone is interested, just contact me and ill post a link.

I found a potential issue in your logs. I don't know if it was completely related to the crash though. Your ESC surely cut out because of low voltage or over current. The copter rolled right and went to completely full throttle to recover. Past full throttle actually to 2293 (this was the fix I uploaded - limit the max). Your battery could not give up the juice fast enough and the voltage dropped tripping the ESC to shut down, or it had an overcurrent sensor trip.

Thanks for posting! Fixed in 2.0.36
