I am trying to set-up the mission planner simulator but I can not figure it out at all.

I have downloaded "flightgear" but have not figure out how to use it within the mission planner to practice flying my Quad.

I have searched on the forum but have not found a straight forward answer  HELP :o) !!!

Need a step by step method to allow me to use my remote control to work within mission planner.
