has anyone considered running 4 x Genesys alternators fitted to brushless motors and charging 2 x 12V supercapacitors? was thinking of using zinc-air battery as opposed to a Lipo as main battery.
with the motors running normally @ 90-95% efficiency there would be a slight decrease in efficiency with the magnet rings fitted to each motor (alternators weigh in @ 156g each).
