One step forward 2 steps back (Bay Area)

Well,What's great about life is any time you get over confident life finds a way to bring you back to earth. I have hooked up my apm 2.5 to my PDB and to my receiver and... Nothing. The APM board does not light up. What is interesting is the board lights up if I switch input side with output side.So it seems like power is coming from the PDB but for some reason the APM board doesn't work.Question. Is there a way to connect the PDB straight into the receiver to test the PDB? I have tried to hook the four pin motor cable plus the two pin power cable to the receiver but no luck. I assume some how all four motor leads would have to go onto ch 3.Just as I have received a bad ESC from the factory is it possible that the APM is bad too?Any help or advice would be great.

  • Do you have a multimeter to check the output of the PDB? Also can you post a photograph of the APM inputs and outputs? The board is probably good unless it has received too high of voltage or reversed polarity on the input side.
