It's just a stabilization board, not an autopilot. Their code is too large and they won't use standards like mavlink.
I like their forum and their project, but they're just a couple years behind APM and Paparazzi. For whatever reason I think they've hit a number of walls because of a few bad choices, so I don't see them catching up anytime soon.

I know several fellas that are fortunate to have a CC board, indeed one even has a CC3D board for evaluation.
Beyond that all I can share their enthusiasm for the quality of the hardware and respect for the ethic / objectives of the Open Pilot project.
Hoping to own a 3D board myself in a few months.
