I have the same computer with the same issue. Found a number of bug reports and tried all solutions and no joy. If you find any fix let me know.
I'm using El Capitan and don't have that issue.
What extensions do you have in the folder
/Library/Extensions/
Try removing APM Planner 2.0 and then downloading it again and copying to the Application folder.
