my quad (APM 3.1.5) does this oscillating altitude hunting during forward auto flights....there is no such problem on AltHold or Loiter modes thou, steady as a rock.....only does this in forward flight.....anyone got any ideas or where to start looking/troubleshooting? pic attached shows it clearly.

look for vibrations, they can get worse in forward flight on multicopters. Is the barometer protected from turbulance/buffeting etc?
yes I have the baromoter covered with dark think foam inside the APM case...will check out vibrations and see how it looks like
