Parallax Propellar Auto Pilot

Here is my code for the Parallax Propeller CPU using the guts of a Wii nun chuck as the accelerometer. The code is modified from Paul Huber's to use the nun chuck data. For a $15 accelerometer it works nice. Still worling on project.

  • Earl: I looked at the pcb layout, you must have some 0.1uF caps to decouple the 5V supply, located
right at the chip power and ground pins. Also a 10uF cap at least on the 5V. A ground plane helps a lot, too.

CPU's will not work without these caps. Not reliably, at least.
  • Here is the latest code with all the sensors working..
    Also what I will fly...
    And the first circuit board..

The accelerometer alone is useless for aircraft tilt sensing in coordinated turn. Search more on the forum.
  • This is my code for the barometer i2c module sdk500. It is written in spin code for the parallax propeller.

  • Here is new code with a 'ping' ultrasonic altitude. I now need to integrate the compass and altitude module.
