hi everyone i ve been hunting the web for a good theory on this issue of "photo-mapping" can any one tell me exactly what are the tools needed to implement this?? any theories are welcomed.... thanks Harsh

Basically what you want to do in order to get google-earth like material is get a bunch of pictures from an altitude looking straight down. That's all. Anything that flies will do, it's all just a matter of creativity.
You'll want to stitch these pictures (easy) to get a reasonable aerial map-like picture, or georeference and orthorectify them (hard) to get an accurate aerial map.
Hello, I've never done photo-maps, but I think AP and a photographic camera can take pictures in burst or lapse of time since then is to trace the route on the ardupilot of the area to be photographed when geopositioning have the photos and go.
