Pixhawk 1 to Frsky X8R telemetry

Does anybody know if you no longer need a teensy board? I still have an older version of 'plane' on my pixhawk. I had to get a new Taranis plus my old one broke. Just trying to set up the telenetry again. The new / used X9D radio had newer FW on it so it took me awhile to get the new correct SD card files and my modle working... got that working. But cannot get the telemtry from my pixhawk to my Taranis... kind of starting over on lua script,,, where to put that in the new file structure??... and do I still need the teesny board?? any info would sure help. Thanks
