Pixhawk cutting 5v to Telem2 port

This is a weird problem with a Pixhawk and a HobbyKing MinimOSD.

Basically, the Pixhawk supplies 5V to the Telem2 port until I plug in the MinimOSD. When I plug it in, the two red LEDs on the analog an digital sides of the MinimOSD blink briefly then disappear. At that point I measure 0v on the +5V pin. There is still +3.3V coming in on the other pins.

The MinimOSD is configured to use the +5V supply for both analog and digital stages (ie I soldered the two jumpers and disconnected the +12V from the analog side).

I did this because I could not get the divided power supply solution working properly.

I have had this exact set up working fine. In fact it stopped working in mid flight. Looking at the logs, the VCC was hovering between 4.9 and 5V until I hit the throttle for a climb. It dipped below 4.9V, and then rose up to around 5V, which was about the time that the MinimOSD stopped working.

The Pixhawk is powered from the power module supplied in the HKPilot32 bundle (which is what the FC is from too).

Any suggestions?
