Hi everyone,
I'm looking into a potential build using the Pixhawk Mini as my flight controller. As it's fairly new I wasn't able to find to much information on it's capabilities. I'm want to use the Pixhawk Mini along with with the 3DR Telemetry and a 3 axis gimbal controlled by the Alexmos gimbal conroller and a GoPro camera. I want to primarily use it to do missions through QGC. I was wondering if it is possible to get FPV from the GoPro on the QGC on my laptop using the 3DR Telemetry? The description on the 3DR website said it was possible to "tune in realtime". If it is possible I was wondering what connections would have to be made in order to do this. Thanks so much.

Hi JJ,
I was looking to use the GoPro to gather footage and I just wanted to be able to see what I was getting. I ultimately plan on seeing the telemetry data through QGC so I don't think I'll need an OSD. It's good to know that's possible though.
I noticed on QGC it looked like it was possible to put FPV in a little window in the corner alongside the telemetry data. I was just wondering if that is something 3DR does through the telemetry radio or if it's possible to connect a thrid party FPV receiver like Immersion?
Yeah I'm in the same build mode as you. I have the Pixhawk Mini, and was wondering about a lot of the documentation.
I have questions regarding the ability to use some of my old APM ( Telemetry modules) and need to find new cables I guess.
I think the telemetry modules will allow you to change many of the settings just like in APM. Are you talking about HUD on the Go Pro? I think Minim OSD would allow for that. And there are cables to allow FPV direct from the Go Pro, through many different frequency transmitters. Direct on QGC would be interesting, I wonder if that is what the 3dr wifi telemetry radio
is for?
As for the Pixhawk Mini, all the different wiring harness' would have been nice just to keep it somewhat standard to regular Pixhawk or give direct converters for common parts like telemetry.
