MR60

When toggling to Flight Mode 1, I see the following in Mission Planner in the Flight Modes screen:

- Flight Mode 1 (set to Position Hold) for PWM 0 to 1230

- Curr PWM = 1169

- Flight Mode 1 is highlighted as green as it should when changing modes

- But the copter never gets to it ... staying in the previous mode

It goes into Loiter, which is position hold plus alt hold, but won't go into position hold.

What am I doing wrong?

  • I've actually been noticing the same thing. The problem is not the flight mode the problem is with pos hold. Try putting a different flight mode in its place like stabilize, auto, or anything else and it should work fine, but just not with pos hold. I also noticed that you can't manually set the copter in pos hold. You can with every other flight mode by going to flightdata->Actions->set mode, but that doesn't work with pos hold. Its very strange.
