Pixhawk problem with aileron output

I have suddenly developed major jitter on the extreme ends of the aileron output from my 3DR pixhawk. I have checked the servos and leads with a servo tester, furthermore the ailerons function normally when plugged directly into the RX,  All other channels are fine (i.e. for Ele,Thr and Rud) except when I plug the ailerons into any of them and then they jitter!  I have changed the servo-Y connectors and the SBUS leads but nothing changes.  I have the wires outside of the model now and there is little obvious source for interference - frankly I am at a loss what to try next and open to suggestions.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.
