is there a problem with mission planner 3.3.39 and the safety button flashing yet motors arm and spin. Picked up my drone and motors spun causing me to be cut, yet the motors were unharmed.

love to but when trying to fly automated it went in the wrong direction climbed to 100 feet stopped and flew at full speed into the ground. I do believe it was a pixhawk problem or radio interfreance
You did not mention what vehicle type or version you are using.
It is quite unlikely to be an issue with Mission Planner 1.3.39
Please post a tlog from the flight to follow the interaction between Mission planner and the vehicle
