tried version 2.0.18. twice on a laptop. once on a high end tower, both running windows 7 ultimate, both had the same shutdown problem. I'm going to try it on one other gaming tower running vista ultimate 64bit. I just bought all kinds of apm parts and am building a drone, if I can't get this running on at least one machine I won't be able to program the controller. kind of disappointed.

Hello
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. The issue I was seeing was resolved by updating/re-installing the video driver on my X301 Win7x64 laptop.
Have you managed to resolve the issue?
Thx

Tried three difeent versions of windows 7 on a toshiba sattelite laptop with no success. The other two systems are amd phenom quadcore, asus mainboards, and gt295 geoforce video systems, both liquid cooled. dont understand this. should i buy a dell, or hp garbage system to try this on?

Did you try and upgrade the video drivers?

Yes, I downloaded the latest driver for the intel mobile chipset, exe package out by toshiba. I absolutely understand compatability issues, I was a PC gamer hardcore for about 6 years. Never had this type of compatability issue before that this much hardware was involved, three different machines is kind of maddening. Are there any other operating sustems that this wll run on or is it just windows 7? Any tries with Windows 10 yet? And is anyone else running this on a Toshiba Laptop? What hardware are you running this with? I'll try about anything right now, I've got 600 invested in hardware I cant use because of a programming issue, I'd like to fly it, not look at it on the floor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS: The problem is an OpenGL driver issue, as soon as APM triggers OpenGL to load it fails (I can see that in the screenshot) it's nit directly related to APM Planner.

I've just tested the build on my 64bit Win7 machine and I also have an issue. I'm investigating and will post a fix ASAP. Thx
Thank you for the reply, and your work on this program!

You can try an older version of APM Planner 2.0. The downloads are all available from here http://firmware.diydrones.com/Tools/APMPlanner/
I hope to update the windows build to use a newer Qt5.4.2 library as that may help resolve the issue you are having.
In the absence of that you can try Mission Planner see http://ardupilot.com/downloads/
I hope that get you flying for now.
