out of sheer curiosity I'm often changing the flight modes.
Now I'm wondering what is the difference between LOITER and POSITION_HOLD modes?
Is there an advantage from one over the other?
Both work well holding the copter firmly in the air.
Am I missing some detail ??

Pos hold you can fly as stabilize speed but mantaining altitude and when you stop moving the sticks the copter stops like loiter, in loiter mode you have more limited movements, to notice the difference try to fly fast in loiter and in pos hold.
Cool. I have conservative settings, I will alter them to have a more crisp response to the stick movements from the copter an try this out :)
