I'm trying to add some redundancy to the power going to the control system in my DJI S800.
Right now I'm running 2 CC Pro BECs, each powered by a 2S LiFe battery, set to output 5.2V
From each BEC there are 2 outputs, one is going into my APM, the other into a Spektrum Powersafe receiver (AR9110).
This means that the BECs are essentially running in parallel. At first I thought this would be great for redundancy in case one fails, however, after emailing Castle I've found that these switching BECs should not be used in parallel.
Does anyone have any suggestions for properly setting up this redundant system without the BECs fighting each other, or linear BECs that will be okay to run in parallel? Any other suggested wiring schemes?
Any help or advice you guys have is greatly appreciated!

Hi Tom,
you may use a diode for each + line in oder to avoid a fight between the BEC's.
Why not to use somthing like this http://www.rc-heli.de/board/showthread.php?t=159622&highlight=g...
try to translate the webpage via google :-)
since the APM doesn't consume much energy it should be safe to land !
cheers
