PPM to PWM conversion

Hi,

I want to ask about PPM encoder,in Radio Calibration the value mean its PWM i.e. RC 3 Max 1800 min 1000. As Far as I know PWM determine by its duty cycle. So what is 1800 value mean? any conversion from PWM to PPM?

    It'll be the length of the pulse in microseconds.  See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Servo_control - the yellow graphic on the right shows the pulses that are sent.

    PPM is "just" multiple PWM signals one after another.
