Hi all,
I am really struggling with how connect my old 35MHz radio receiver unit to the pixhawk autopilot. unit
Its an old FM(PPM) 6 channel Empfanger 35 MHZ it has no model number
Can I connect an old unit up to the pixhawk? its RC connector appears to be a sum PPM does that mean I can't connect an old traditional unit like I did with my old APM 1.2?
I can't seem to find wiring diagrams to help but I think its due to a lack of knowledge on my part to know what to actually search for.
Could someone give me a couple of pointers please? I'd rather not have to purchase a modern 2.4 GHZ setup if at all possible.
Many thanks

You should buy a PPM encoder such as this one --> http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__62753__PPM_Encoder_Modul...
Hi Martin
Thank you ever so much, for the direction what is confusing me is that my receiver says it PPM not PWM so I didn't think the encoder was what I needed.
Can I just check is this the setup I should follow with the full Pixhawk?
