problem connecting to pc

hi,

i got my 2560 and oilpan soldered and put together, GPS and mag plugged, and when i try to connect thru the mission planner, all i get is the orange TX light flashing once per second

power lights "on" on both boards, but neither of the ABC lights are on...

can anyone help?

Did you load the code? Are you following the manual?
